Frequently Asked Questions

Q. I Wish to get a tattoo, what should I do?

A. A brief walkthrough;

There are a few things you can do, if you have an idea of what you would like then you can either contact us on here or through social media - Facebook, Instagram etc. or you can pop down to the shop and have a chat with one of our artists, this is really the best way as we can have a proper talk about what it is you are after.

Once we have had a chat and we are on the same page with your design, we can get you booked in. This will require a deposit, the amount you leave will depend on the type of tattoo you are having, it will start from £50, though this will come off the final payment of your tattoo.

When that is paid, we will get you a date in the book, and away we go! As most of our work is custom, we will then draw your design up in the lead-up to your appointment. you can pop in a few days beforehand to check the design is to your liking and if any changes need to be made.

Q. How much does a tattoo cost?

A. We have a minimum charge of £50.00. A lot of our work is large and will take multiple sittings, for this we feel it is better for the customer to pay for the time they are in the chair rather than give them a one-off price. That way you do not end up overpaying for time you have not spent in the studio. Our hourly rate is £100 an hour. Should your design be able to be completed in one session then we will quote a one off price for your piece.

Q. Why do I need a deposit?

A. A deposit is there to ensure that you and the artist follow through with the work agreed upon. It will come off of your final payment for your tattoo. If you wish to change your appointment, we will require 48 SHOP OPENING HOURS notice. Anything less than this will result in a loss of deposit as it will be hard to fill the space left.

Q. Do you do walk-ins?

A. We will always do our best to cater to walk-in appointments, it is always best to phone ahead to make sure we have a space, or you can always try your luck.

Q .Do you have a long waiting list?

A. Despite having a strong reputation we will always do our best to get you in ASAP. This is normally 1-2 weeks. We are open late nights and Saturdays to try and cater for the 9-5 workers out there.

Q. How old do you have to be to get tattooed?

A. Tattooing of the minors Act 1969 states it is an offence to tattoo a person under the age of 18. No exceptions this is the law. END OF!

Q. Will I need I.D.?

A: We operate under a challend 21 program in the shop so chances are you will need I.D. Best to bring it with you just to be safe.

We accept

Drivers Licence

Provisional drivers licence

Passport

Please note we may refuse I.D. if we believe it to be counterfeit.

Q. Do you do piercing?

A. At the moment we do not offer piercings but this will be a service we will be offering soon

Q. Do you do cover-ups/ reworks?

A. Unlike a lot of other studios we have no problem with performing cover-ups and reworks, as long as the work we carry out will make a substantial difference to the current tattoo you have. You will need to come down and see us so we can have a proper look at what we are working with and to see what we can do.

Q. Can you tattoo over scars/stretch marks?

A. This is all dependent on the state of the scar tissue, A lot of them can be worked over but it is always best to come down and ask us in person so we can double-check.

Q. Can I bring a friend?

A. Yes you can bring a friend to hold your hand that is fine, we do ask that you do not bring 100 friends however as this can get very loud.

Q. Can my kids come in?

A. Children are allowed in the waiting room but they must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Q. Where can I park?

A. There are lots of parking bays up and down the high street, and behind the studio is the Ashton Playing Field, which has a very large car park which offers 4 hours free parking and a pay and display should you be in with us for longer than 4 hours.
