TATTOO BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS
Please read these terms carefully before paying your deposit or confirming your appointment. By paying a deposit, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
1. BOOKING & DEPOSITS
A deposit is required to secure and confirm your tattoo appointment.
Until the deposit has been received, your appointment is not considered fully confirmed and the studio reserves the right to offer the appointment to another client.
Deposits are deducted from the final cost of your tattoo.
Deposits are non-refundable, except where otherwise required by law.
2. CANCELLATIONS
We understand that sometimes plans change. However, appointments are reserved specifically for you and the studio may turn away other clients to accommodate your booking.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice will result in the loss of your deposit.
If you cancel with 48 hours or more notice, your deposit may be transferred to a future appointment, subject to availability and the studio's discretion.
A new deposit may be required to secure a replacement appointment.
3. RESCHEDULING
If you need to change your appointment, please contact the studio as soon as possible.
Where 48 hours or more notice is provided, we will do our best to transfer your deposit to another suitable appointment.
Repeated rescheduling may require a new deposit.
Rescheduling with less than 48 hours' notice may result in the loss of your deposit.
4. NO-SHOWS
Failure to attend your appointment without contacting the studio will be treated as a no-show.
A no-show will result in the loss of your deposit.
If you wish to book another appointment following a no-show, the studio may require a new deposit or full payment in advance.
5. LATENESS
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
If you are running late, please contact the studio as soon as possible.
Arriving significantly late may result in your appointment being shortened or cancelled if there is insufficient time to complete the tattoo safely and to an appropriate standard.
In these circumstances, your deposit may be forfeited.
6. DESIGN CHANGES
Please make sure you are happy with your design and placement before your appointment.
Reasonable changes can usually be discussed with your artist, but significant design changes made shortly before or on the day of your appointment may require the appointment to be rearranged.
Your artist reserves the right to refuse a design or placement if they believe it cannot be tattooed safely or to an appropriate professional standard.
7. APPOINTMENT TIME & TATTOO SIZE
Appointment times are estimates and may vary depending on the design, size, placement, skin and individual circumstances.
Your artist will discuss the expected duration and cost of the tattoo with you where reasonably possible.
If your tattoo takes longer than originally estimated, additional time may be charged at the studio's current hourly rate.
8. CLIENT SUITABILITY
You must inform your artist of any relevant medical conditions, allergies, medications or circumstances that could affect the tattooing process or healing of your tattoo.
You must not attend your appointment under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs.
The studio reserves the right to refuse or postpone an appointment if the artist believes that proceeding would be unsafe or inappropriate.
9. AGE & IDENTIFICATION
The Basset & Hair Tattoo Co. tattoos clients aged 18 and over.
Valid photographic identification may be requested where required to confirm age.
10. DEPOSITS & ARTIST CANCELLATIONS
In the unlikely event that the studio or artist needs to cancel your appointment, we will make reasonable efforts to rearrange your appointment.
If we are unable to offer a suitable replacement appointment, your deposit will be returned.
11. TATTOO RESULTS & HEALING
Tattooing is a permanent procedure and individual healing results can vary.
The studio cannot guarantee the exact final appearance of a healed tattoo.
Following the aftercare instructions provided by your artist is the client's responsibility.
12. TOUCH-UPS
Some tattoos may require a touch-up after healing.
Whether a complimentary touch-up is offered is at the discretion of the artist and will depend on the tattoo, healing process and circumstances.
A tattoo that has not been properly cared for during the healing process may not qualify for a complimentary touch-up.
13. REFUSAL OF SERVICE
The studio and its artists reserve the right to refuse to tattoo a client or a particular design where they consider it inappropriate, unsafe, unsuitable or contrary to their professional standards.
Any decision to refuse service will be made at the studio's discretion, subject to applicable law.
